Tegen & Patrick Get Married at The White Room

Tegen and Patrick were married at The White Room in front of their adoring friends and family. Patrick said there are infinite reasons why he loves Tegen and Tegen said forever is simply not enough time to be with her soul mate. The pandemic caused the date to change several times, but love shines through and their big day arrived just before Christmas 2020. The two of them transparently exchanged vows in a brightly lit room reflecting a quaint old chapel with modern touches in the historic district of America’s Oldest City. The wait was well worth it, and we have the film the prove it.

Patrick and Tegen met as teenagers and instantly knew they were made for each other. They share a romantic love that is sentimental and soulful. Meeting so young meant they were together for many important life moments, including high school graduation. Tegen was in her graduation gown to receive her college degree when Patrick got down on one knee and proposed. That best day of her life was topped by their dreamy wedding day, and you can see in their wedding film how perfectly the day unfolded.

Tegen wore a classic satin wedding gown with a stylish cut. A long veil, simple pearl jewelry and dramatic make-up completed her bridal look. She carried a rustic-styled bouquet of peach and white florals and greenery.

Patrick matched her in the fashion department with a gray suit with a bow tie and white rose boutonnière.

Together they looked adorable as they held hands and wandered around the cobblestone streets of St. Augustine showcasing their love.

Tegen's beautiful bridesmaids wore mismatched pale green dresses and carried white baby's breath bouquets, and the three girls were constantly laughing all day long. The groom had his groomsmen by his side, and as they walked as a group around the neighborhood, they were greeted by many shouts of congratulations.

The White Room is an elegant wedding venue with hanging chandeliers, plenty of natural light flowing through large windows and polished wooden floors. The ceremony location is called The Villa Blanca and the high ceilings with heavy beams is sophisticated and spacious. You can get married outdoors on the terrace, but The Villa Blanca is pretty special from a videography perspective. Right in the heart of the famous historic downtown area of St. Augustine, Florida and with the scenic waterfront nearby, it makes for a stunning location.

Tegen and Patrick fell totally in love with the wedding venue as soon as they saw it. On their wedding day, the wedding venue looked even more amazing than how they imagined.

For the wedding ceremony, a personalized unity candle with the words "And They Lived Happily Ever After" sat on a table under the altar made from rustic greenery and draped white fabric. Friends and family signed the guest book as they arrived, and were soon seated for the bride's arrival. The bridal party walked down the aisle with bright smiles, just before the beautiful bride appeared and was gracefully guided down the aisle by her proud father. Patrick was nearly in tears as he saw his soon-to-be wife.

The couple shared emotional and touching vows, exchanged rings, and lit the unity candle, followed by the bride's mother reading a love poem. Every person in the room felt the love and devotion as Tegen and Patrick promised to love only each other forever more. They were announced husband and wife and kissed as everyone clapped and congratulated them.

Cocktail hour was outside during golden hour, and the bridal party arrived with upbeat dance moves to kick off the celebration. Everyone welcomed the newlyweds with a loud cheer, and the couple gave an impressive first dance soon after their grand entrance.

The reception was full of love, joy, and celebration. The intimate reception setting was decorated with rustic floral and wood centerpieces and candles. Everyone enjoyed dinner and drinks with speeches that were sentimental, funny, thoughtful, and warm.

The pandemic had stopped some guests from attending in-person, but they were able to watch from Zoom. Tears flowed as guests, including the bride's sister, came online to give her well wishes from across the Atlantic Ocean.

Their decadent triple-tiered wedding cake was decorated with fresh flowers and a rose gold cake topper with the words "Happily Ever After”, and was surrounded by fancy cream cakes. When Tegen threw the bouquet, it was caught by one of her bridesmaids, who was absolutely overjoyed. Dancing ensued complete with a conga line as everyone celebrated the couple's high school sweetheart love story.

The perfect night ended with a romantic sparkler line, as the couple departed on a horse-drawn cart adorned with lights and "Just Married" decorations.
