Tracy and Paul Celebrate at The White Room
Updated: Dec 20, 2019
Tracy and Paul's story started over 30 years ago. They were your classic, high school sweethearts with their whole roaring 20's ahead. For whatever reasons, "the timing just wasn't right yet." We've all heard that word many times. Timing. That annoying word that makes you remember to let go, because you are not really in control. Paul knew that Tracy had big dreams to become a doctor, and Paul approached Tracy's dad and said if circumstances were different, he would ask for his daughter's hand in marriage. He obviously wanted to be with her, but he knew a serious relationship could make it difficult for her to reach her full potential during her college career. So he made the incredibly hard decision to part ways and let the universe shape their future. Perhaps both of them needed to grow, and find themselves first.
But love finds a way – and it did. Tracy and Paul are proof that it is never too late to be with that someone. They were on each others mind from time to time and it was inevitable for them to end up together. 30 years later, there they were – soul mates right out of a Nicholas Sparks novel, more in love than ever. Their entire wedding weekend in St. Augustine was full of a fascinating energy surrounded by so many family and friends. Tracy and Paul carved their next chapter in St. Augustine's cobblestone streets, and I am so grateful to have been there for it. From the rehearsal dinner at Michael's Tasting Room to the ceremony at Trinity Episcopal and celebration at The White Room, First Sight Films was there to make sure this weekend will forever be relived.
