The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is one of the premier outdoor concert venues in the Southeast. With a capacity of over 4,000 and a lineup that ranges from jam bands to country legends to EDM acts, The Amp needed a content partner who could keep up with a demanding schedule and deliver across multiple platforms.
Since 2024, First Sight Films has been on retainer as the video and photography partner for St. Johns County Cultural Events. That means we're not just covering shows — we're embedded with the marketing team, understanding their goals, and delivering content that actually gets used.
Our work spans five distinct brands: The Amp, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Festival, Sing Out Loud Festival, and Sounds of Sawgrass. Each has its own audience and style. We adapt.

Most concert content lives on phones. We shoot and edit vertical videos optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Stories — fast turnaround so the marketing team can post while the show is still buzzing.
Format: 9:16 vertical, under 60 seconds, captions included.
Broadcast-Ready Footage
Some content needs to look good on a big screen. We deliver horizontal recap videos, promotional clips, and archival footage that can be used for TV spots, YouTube, and sponsor presentations.
Format: 16:9 horizontal, 4K or 1080p, color graded.
Event Photography
Every show gets full photo coverage — artist performances, crowd energy, venue atmosphere. Images are delivered press-ready for media kits, social posts, and marketing collateral.
Turnaround: Same week. Format: High-res JPG and web-optimized.

How fast is turnaround for concert content?
Social clips (vertical, under 60 seconds) are typically delivered within 24-48 hours. Full photo galleries within 3-5 days. Longer-form recap videos within 1-2 weeks depending on complexity.
Do you work with other venues?
Yes. While the Amphitheatre is our flagship venue partnership, we work with concert halls, theaters, festivals, and event spaces throughout Northeast Florida. If you're looking for consistent, reliable content coverage, let's talk.
What equipment do you use for concert video?
We shoot on professional mirrorless systems (Sony FX series) with fast lenses optimized for low-light concert environments. Audio is captured separately and synced in post. We're set up for challenging lighting conditions — strobes, LED walls, fog machines, you name it.
Can you cover shows at other venues for us?
Absolutely. Our partnership with St. Johns County Cultural Events includes coverage at multiple venues — The Amp, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, and various festival locations. We're flexible and mobile.
