Video Production in Jacksonville, FL
A St. Augustine crew, 40 minutes south. No travel fees inside 50 miles.
First Sight Films is a St. Augustine production company that serves Jacksonville and Duval County, 40 minutes down I-95 from our home base. We produce corporate video, conference and event coverage, brand story films, short-form social content, and commercial photography for businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and cultural organizations across Northeast Florida. We have photographed concerts at the Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville and covered a national mortgage lender's two-day sales rally on the coast just south of the metro. Jacksonville sits inside our standard 50-mile service radius, so you get the same crew, the same rates, and no travel line on the quote. We are honest about where we are based, and we are on site in Duval County before most morning call times.

Video production services in Jacksonville
First Sight Films produces finished video and photo assets, the kind a marketing team keeps using long after the shoot. We are a content production company, so if your event needs staging, sound reinforcement, or a livestream operator, that is an AV company's job, and we work alongside them without friction. Here is what we make for Jacksonville organizations.
- Corporate video. Sales meetings, conferences, testimonial shoots, product explainers, and internal communications, filmed with multi-camera setups and delivered in the formats your channels need.
- Event coverage. Photo and video teams for conferences, festivals, galas, and grand openings, with photos and a short social recap in your hands within 72 hours of the event.
- Brand story films. The 60 to 120 second film that explains who you are and why you exist, built from real interviews and real work, for your website and your campaigns.
- Social media content. Short-form vertical clips cut for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, shot on their own or pulled from a larger production.
- Commercial photography. Product, architectural, and brand imagery, plus event photography, from a team that shoots stills and motion at the same job.
Our work in and around Jacksonville
We are not new to this market. Below is real work, named clients, and what each project delivered. The corporate and conference lane leads because that is what Jacksonville teams hire us for most.
Corporate and Conference Video: HMA Mortgage Sales Rally
Project at a glance
- Client: HMA Mortgage, a national lender licensed in 35+ states
- Event: 2-day sales rally, Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach, April 2025
- Crew: 3 cameras, 1 stationary and 2 roaming
- Captured: keynotes, breakouts, panels, Q&As, 12 attendee testimonials
- Delivered: 30-second social reel the next day, then a 2-minute recap, 12 testimonials, and 4 product videos within the week, plus a custom animated logo
When HMA Mortgage flew its national team into Northeast Florida for a two-day sales rally, First Sight Films covered all of it. The venue was Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach, an easy drive from Jacksonville International for their team and 45 minutes from downtown Jacksonville for ours. This is exactly the shape of the corporate work we do across the metro.
The challenge with a multi-day corporate event is that flown-in attendees sitting through sessions do not read as engaged on camera by day two. So we studied the agenda before the shoot, mapped the most interactive sessions, shot our best attendee b-roll on day one before fatigue set in, and mined the socials, breaks, and after-hours for energy. HMA had a social reel in hand the very next morning, while the rally was still the talk of their Slack.
"Wow, the videos that Diego and the team created for our corporate Sales Rally were absolutely spectacular! They completely captured our vibe (and definitely made us look cool!)! They were tuned into our goals and objectives, and delivered a product that went above and beyond!"

Concert Photography at the Florida Theatre
First Sight Films photographed a Grupo Niche concert at the Florida Theatre, the historic venue on East Forsyth Street and one of downtown Jacksonville's landmark rooms. Live music is demanding work for a camera: mixed stage lighting, fast movement, and no second takes. It is also the environment we work in most, after four years covering venues and festivals for Northeast Florida's largest cultural events organization. The Florida Theatre job put that same approach to work in the heart of Duval County, and the images sit in the gallery below.
Venue and Promotional Video: SJC Cultural Events
Project at a glance
- Client: SJC Cultural Events, the nonprofit behind the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, Sing Out Loud Festival, and Fort Mose Jazz & Blues
- Work: promotional video for social, web, and broadcast, plus photography
- Relationship: 4 years and counting, FSF's only on-call retainer client
- Press: our festival photography has run in the Jacksonville Business Journal and the Ponte Vedra Recorder
For four years, First Sight Films has produced promotional video for the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, the two flagship venues run by SJC Cultural Events. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall sits on the Jacksonville metro's southern edge, and plenty of its audience drives down from Duval County. The organization keeps us on a bespoke on-call arrangement, the only retainer we hold, which means when they need video, editing, or photography, we are already booked.
That is the relationship a venue builds with a crew it trusts. Our coverage of their festivals has run alongside news stories in the Jacksonville Business Journal, and the biggest client reaction of the whole relationship came on a photography job, the Amphitheatre product shoot, which is why we pitch photo and video as one team. If you run a Jacksonville venue, theater, or event series, this is the model: one crew that already knows your rooms, on call when the calendar fills.
Brand Story Films: Friends of Acadia and Rocky Mountain Conservancy
Project at a glance
- Clients: Friends of Acadia (Maine) and Rocky Mountain Conservancy (Colorado), the philanthropic partners of two national parks
- Format: 60 to 90 second brand story films plus photography, 1-day and 2-day shoots
- Approach: pre-shoot stakeholder meetings, real interviews, filming volunteers and locations on the ground
- Outcome: FOA's film runs on its website and social channels; RMC screened its film to the Friends Alliance, the national coalition of park support organizations
Organizations have flown First Sight Films to Maine and Colorado to make their brand films. Jacksonville is a 40-minute drive, which is the point of this section.
For Friends of Acadia, the conservation nonprofit behind Acadia National Park, we shadowed volunteers on two real projects and interviewed the volunteer program director. She froze on camera. So Diego moved the interview into her car and filmed while she drove to the work site. With her mind off the lens, she relaxed and gave the film its story. "We love it, thank you so much," Julia Walker Thomas, the organization's visual assets manager, told us on delivery.
For Rocky Mountain Conservancy, we spent two days hiking gear into Rocky Mountain National Park to film the park's highlights and its newly built accessible boardwalks. RMC screened the finished film to the Friends Alliance, the national coalition of park support organizations, as it introduced itself as host of the group's next annual meeting.
The same process makes brand films for Jacksonville companies and nonprofits: a real interview, real work on screen, and a director who can get a story out of someone who hates being on camera.

Jacksonville Video Production FAQs
How much does video production cost in Jacksonville?
Most of our projects run between $3,000 and $15,000, depending on scope. Event coverage has fixed tiers: event photography from $1,200, a half-day photo and video package at $2,000, a single-videographer video day from $2,500, full photo and video coverage from $5,500, and multi-day coverage from $9,500. Corporate videos and brand films are quoted to scope after a short call.
Do you charge travel fees for Jacksonville projects?
No. Jacksonville sits inside our standard 50-mile service radius, so travel is included for any project in Duval County. Our studio is in St. Augustine, about 40 minutes south on I-95, and we quote Jacksonville work at the same rates as work in our home county.
What kinds of video do you produce for Jacksonville businesses?
Corporate videos, conference and event coverage, brand story films, and short-form social content, plus commercial and event photography. Most Jacksonville inquiries are corporate: sales meetings, conferences, testimonial shoots, and recap films a marketing team can keep reusing.
Have you actually worked in Jacksonville?
Yes. We have photographed concerts at the Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville. Our festival photography has run in the Jacksonville Business Journal, and we produce ongoing promotional work for the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on the metro's southern edge.
Can you cover a multi-day conference or corporate meeting?
Yes, that is the core of our corporate work. For HMA Mortgage's two-day sales rally we ran three cameras, covered the keynotes, breakouts, panels, and Q&As, filmed 12 attendee testimonials, and had a social reel in the client's hands the next morning, with the full recap package delivered inside a week.
Do you provide AV, staging, or livestreaming?
No. First Sight Films produces video and photo content, the assets you use after the event. We do not run event AV, staging, sound reinforcement, or livestreams. If your event needs an AV company, we work alongside the one you hire, and the division of labor is clean.
Who owns the footage, and can we run it in paid ads?
You get a perpetual license for commercial use of everything we deliver, from your website and social channels to paid advertising campaigns. First Sight Films retains ownership of the work and archives the raw files for three years, so re-edits are possible long after delivery.
How do you keep speaker audio clean?
We record multiple audio inputs so a single failure never costs you the speech. At conferences we pull a direct feed from the venue's audio board and add lav mics at the podium when speakers deliver full remarks. You get clean, usable speaker audio rather than room sound.
What happens if a camera or recorder fails mid-event?
Nothing you would ever notice. We carry backups for cameras, audio, power, and media, and multi-camera coverage means no single point of failure. Your event only happens once, so we build every shoot around that fact.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our Jacksonville venue?
Yes. We carry $1 million in general liability insurance and can send a certificate of insurance ahead of your event, including naming the venue as additional insured if it requires that.
How fast is turnaround?
Event clients get photos and a 20 to 30 second social recap within 72 hours on every tier. Next-day social reels are available, simple projects deliver in 3 to 5 days, and brand films or multi-day productions run 3 to 6 weeks. Our Event Story Rush tier delivers the full event package in 7 business days.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. We take a limited number of dates and busy seasons fill first. If your event is close, ask anyway, because we are quick to answer. One client found us after two recommended vendors went silent for three weeks; we replied within 30 minutes and won the job.
Can you get drone footage of our Jacksonville event or property?
Sometimes. Drone work depends on the location and FAA rules. General-area aerial b-roll is sometimes available at no extra cost, and live drone coverage during an event is an add-on we quote per flight with licensed, insured operators.
Why hire a St. Augustine crew instead of a Jacksonville freelancer?
Because you are hiring a company: backups on every piece of gear, insurance your venue will accept, a second shooter, and a four-year track record with institutions that keep rebooking us. The real risk at an event is a crew with no backup plan, and that risk has nothing to do with a 40-minute drive.
