- Rights: perpetual license; First Sight Films retains ownership
- Use: festival social, next-year ad campaigns, press
First Sight Films is the house photographer for the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and the main photographer for the Sing Out Loud Festival and the Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Festival — all produced by SJC Cultural Events, the nonprofit that also runs the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. We've worked with SJCCE for four-plus years.
Across their venues and festivals we photograph the whole event — live performances on the main stage, the festival experience, attendees interacting with the branded scenic, and sponsor activations like Live Wildly's at Sing Out Loud in 2024 and 2025, plus behind-the-scenes. For a two-day festival we deliver roughly 450 edited images, and we edit same-day — pulling shots while the event is still live so the festival can post that night.
When the Amphitheatre brought us on to cover the Avett Brothers, we shot both photo and video of the show. Our festival work has run with local news coverage in the Ponte Vedra Recorder and the Jacksonville Business Journal, and SJCCE stores the images to reuse for the next year's paid campaigns and organic social.
Corporate Event Photography
Conference coverage shot for how the images actually get used.
Project at a glance
- Client: Ten Technical LLC (Alexandria, VA) — FSF subcontracted; event produced by Nth Degree (Atlanta)
- Event: RSAC 2026 (the RSA Conference) · San Francisco · multi-day · ~40,000 attendees
- Relationship: 6 years covering this event for Ten Technical
- Role: on-site event photographer + production support
- Captured: attendees, breakout sessions, keynote stages — shot to feed next year's digital-signage designs
- Delivered: ~100 edited images at the end of each day
- Logistics: travel from St. Augustine with full camera kit · $1M liability + venue COI
First Sight Films photographs the RSA Conference (RSAC) in San Francisco — one of the largest cybersecurity events in the world, drawing roughly 40,000 attendees across multiple venues. We've covered it for six years running.
We're brought in by Ten Technical, the team behind RSAC's digital signage — the screens throughout the venues that show agendas, speaker bios, and next-up-on-stage information (Ten Technical works under the event's producer, Nth Degree). Our job is to photograph the conference as it happens — attendees, breakout sessions, and the keynote stages — and the images do double duty: they document this year's event and become the source material the designers build next year's signage from.
Each day we deliver around 100 edited photographs by end of day, so the team has a usable gallery before the next morning. The assignment runs out of San Francisco, so we travel with our full camera kit and carry $1M in liability with a certificate of insurance for the venue.
Brand & Sponsor Activation Photography
Proof your activation landed — photo and video built for sponsorship ROI.
What activation coverage captures
- Branded scenic and signage in use — your logo where the crowd actually is
- Attendees engaging — lines, demos, giveaways, reactions
- Foot traffic and crowd scale at peak moments
- Brand ambassadors and staff in action
- Detail shots — swag, menus, installations — for recap decks and next year's pitch
- Photo and video from one team, same activation
A brand activation only lives for the hours it's on the floor — unless someone documents it. First Sight Films photographs and films brand and sponsor activations at conferences and festivals so the investment keeps paying off long after the event: in sponsorship recap decks, next year's pitch to leadership, social proof, and the producer's own marketing.
At RSAC 2026 — the 40,000-attendee RSA Conference in San Francisco — we captured activations out on the show floor, from a sponsor's “No AI Zone” coffee bar to branded giveaways and the crowds they drew. The images show what a report can't: the brand in use, the people, and the scale of the moment.
The same coverage carries festival sponsors. At Sing Out Loud we photograph Live Wildly's on-site activation as part of our festival work, giving the sponsor imagery that proves reach and engagement. Whether it's a conference booth or a festival footprint, we shoot the activation the way a sponsor needs to report on it.
Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings
Same-day photos for the one day a business opens its doors.
Project at a glance
- Client: Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux (corporate) — St. Johns County location grand opening
- Referred by: St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce
- Captured: ribbon-cutting moment, team group photos, building exterior, interior, food & drink
- Delivered: ~120 edited photographs, same day
- Used across: 6 social channels — Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, and more
- Rights: perpetual license; First Sight Films retains ownership
When Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux opened its St. Johns County location, the corporate team hired First Sight Films to photograph the grand opening — a job that reached us on a recommendation from the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce.
We covered the whole day: the ribbon-cutting moment, group photos of the team, exterior shots of the new building, the interior, and food and drink photography. A grand opening happens once, and the marketing window is immediate — so we delivered roughly 120 edited photographs the same day, ready to post.
Walk-On's ran the images across six social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and Yelp.
Graduation & Commencement
Commencement coverage for the college — and portrait sessions for the families.
Project at a glance
- Client: Flagler College — commencement coverage (2026 was our 2nd year) plus Grad Bash, the day-before campus celebration
- Also: graduation portrait sessions for individual grads & families
- Each session delivers: 20+ edited images at the grad's favorite spots on campus, plus a few frames that capture their personality or what they studied at Flagler
First Sight Films photographs graduation for Flagler College — 2026 was our second year covering the college's commencement, and we also cover Grad Bash, the day before, when graduates and families gather on campus to celebrate over food and drink.
Alongside the college's event, we shoot graduation portrait sessions for individual grads and families. Each session delivers 20+ edited images at the student's favorite spots on campus, with a few frames that capture their personality or their major during their time at Flagler.

Our Approach to Event Photography
First Sight Films approaches every event the same way — figure out the moments that matter and how you'll use the photos, then cover it so nothing important gets missed. An event doesn't get a second take.
What sets us apart:
- Institutions trust us. House photographer for the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, main photographer for Sing Out Loud and Fort Mose, and the RSA Conference photographer for six years.
- We move at event speed. Same- and next-day edits — we delivered Walk-On's grand-opening gallery the same day, and we edit festivals live so they post that night.
- One team, photo and video. Matched coverage from a single production — see our event video coverage — so you're not juggling two vendors.
- We shoot for how you'll use it. Social, sponsorship recap decks, next-year campaigns, press — we cover the event for where the images need to go.
- We're event professionals. We read a room, catch the moment you can't redo, and stay out of the way doing it.
- Insured and venue-ready. $1M general liability with a COI for your venue — and we travel, including across the country for RSAC in San Francisco.
Full usage rights on everything we deliver — use the images anywhere; we handle ownership and archiving.
